For my final project, I wanted to take the tools, ideas, and concepts that I have learned, and blend them together to create something that reflected me. I utilized only my own words and images, in the forms of non-fiction personal narratives (both written and audio), photography, video, and web.

I created the interface for my project utilizing the Dreamweaver program. I chose an image that I felt represented me very well, without giving away exactly who I am, or what I am about. My intent was to intrigue the viewer, to pull them in, to make them want to view and read my waiting work. I chose to keep the design very simple and monochromatic because I felt that it set the mood for the work that I included.

The pieces that I chose to include in this interface are all non-fiction personal narratives. I believe that these pieces all work well together; they all convey a similar mood and tone, but tell a different story.

Right now, I am going through a pivotal point in my life. I am examining every little detail, all of the minutia, and I am trying to make sense of it in my own way. I am trying to make peace with my childhood upbringing, my family, my illness, and most importantly myself. I am compiling stories, photographs, videos...artifacts really to pass on to my niece and nephew. In a way, I am readying myself to let go when it is time.

These works are all representative of me; they are pieces of me; they are from inside my brain.
